I am using GNAT 3.10p compiler and when I come to bind there is a circular
dependancy which prevents the bind, where it previously bound o.k. with an
older compiler.
Is there a way to switch off the circular dependancy checking so I can bind
as there are no elaboration problems in the code that it would generate.

You should read the chapter on elaboration issues in the GNAT users guide.
It should answer all the questions you have in this area.
te that by default, GNAT uses a static check for elaboration order which
is (of course) over-conservative.
