It would be a good idea to first try a small scale application on both
platforms to get an idea of the performance for real-time and learn
from it. i.e. first do a visibility study. Then if all is good, do
the big application.

We're close to start porting a large (500klocs+) Ada real-time
application (process control) from OpenVMS to Windows NT.

Real-time requirements are in the 0.1-0.5 seconds range
(depending on process, about 15 processes in all), works well
with DEC Ada and OpenVMS.

Is anybody aware of similar existing applications on Windows NT,
using Aonix's ObjectAda, Rational's VADS or APEX, or GNAT
(or perhaps yet another ADE) ?

Thanks in advance
