List-Name: ada-belgium
Dear Ada-Belgium member,
This message is to remind you of the next General Assembly of
Ada-Belgium, which is scheduled for
Monday, February 16, 1998, at 5:30 p.m.
at the U.L.B. in Brussels.
The official convocation was sent to Ada-Belgium members via normal mail
and is also available on our Web-pages
http://www.cs.kuleuven.ac.be/~dirk/ada-belgium/
New information:
* We still have a limited number of documentation sets available that
were distributed freely at the Ada-Belgium'97 Seminar. Each set
includes a.o. printed copies of the CORBA IDL to Ada mapping document,
the latest Walnut Creek double Ada CD-ROM (a special edition for
Tri-Ada'97 and Ada-Belgium'97), and the Ada-Tour 2.0i CD-ROM (a
multimedia CD-ROM of Ada tools, documents and training). These sets
will be available on a first-come first-serve basis at the General
Assembly for current Ada-Belgium members who couldn't attend last
November.
* Ada-Europe membership is included in the Ada-Belgium membership, and
the Ada-Europe benefits package was recently extended at no additional
cost (such as a reduced registration fee at Ada-Europe's annual
"International Conference on Reliable Software Technologies", a
subscription to the quarterly "Ada User Journal" beginning in April
1998, and "surprise gifts" such as the Ada 95 Quality and Style Guide
from Springer-Verlag sent last December as an early Christmas present
to all members). See
http://www.cs.kuleuven.ac.be/~dirk/ada-belgium/member-benefit.html
for more information.
Everyone interested is welcome at this meeting. All members have a vote
at the General Assembly, can add items to the agenda, and can be a
candidate for a position on the Board.
If you have not yet renewed your affiliation, please do so with the
membership application form at
http://www.cs.kuleuven.ac.be/~dirk/ada-belgium/forms/member-form.html
before the General Assembly. Early renewal is needed to ensure you
receive the full Ada-Belgium and Ada-Europe membership benefits.
We hope to meet many of you at the General Assembly or one of our next
events.
Sincerely yours,
Dirk (Dirk.Craeynest@cs.kuleuven.ac.be for Ada-Belgium e-mail)
