This is the package I talked about some times ago. It provides a kind of evolved semaphore, plus utilities for protecting a procedure call against abortion and/or concurrent access.
Connect to Adalog's web page (http://perso.wanadoo.fr/adalog) and follow the link to the english version (unless you prefer to stay in French :-), and the software components link.
Apart from direct usefulness, it's a nice example of the use of protected types, finalization, access discriminants, and new exception packages.
