I chose the compiler, and saw no reason to stick to a validated
Ada 83 compiler for this project. It was in what's now called
e-commerce and needed the reliability of an Ada program to avoid
very expensive errors, but nobody's life actually depended on it
(discounting the possibility of self-defenestration).
