Hi there, I've got 3 questions:
Platform: Sun Sparc, Solaris 2.5, gnat 3.10p from binary distribution
1) Compilation time for one (of 200) units increases from 5 sec (gnat3.09) to
1800 sec (!!) (gnat3.10) on Solaris as well as on Dec Unix 4.0. All other
units are unaffected. Any ideas?
2) In some units during compilation I get messages:
/home/kroemer/0gnat/basin.ss/al.wrk/table_sort.adb:104: warning: variable
`anz_i' might be clobbered by `longjmp' or `vfork'
for the declaration lines even of integer variables:
Anz_I, Anz_F, Anz_W : Integer := 0;
What's this?
3) The same application made with Rational Vads or Apex Ada Compilers is
5 (without -g) to 6.5 (with -g) times faster. Any tips where there might be
bottlenecks?
Thanks for comments....
