ADA USER JOURNAL TO MERGE WITH ADA-EUROPE NEWS
Topic: Ada

Ada User Journal is expanding. In March 1998, Ada-Europe News and the
Journal will combine, reinforcing the quarterly journal's position as the
major Ada publication outside North America and trebling its number of
subscribers. The title Ada User Journal will be retained and it will
continue to be produced by Ada UK with Jim Briggs as Editor-in-Chief but
with an expanded international Editorial Board. Members of Ada UK and
Ada-Europe will receive the journal as part of their membership benefits.

For subscription information, contact Helen Byard at Ada UK
(mailto:admin@adauk.org.uk).

NEW SOFTWARE ENGINEERING BOOK RELEASED
Topic: Software Engineering, Reuse

"Software Fault Injection: Inoculating Programs Against Errors", by
Jeffrey Voas and Gary McGraw, Reliable Software Technologies, John Wiley &
Sons, 1997

ISBN: 0-471-18381-4

Fault injection is a useful tool in developing high quality, reliable
code. Its ability to reveal how software systems behave under
experimentally controlled anomalous circumstances makes it an ideal
crystal ball for predicting how badly good software can behave. This,
how-to guide to a new approach to software analysis gets developers,
programmers, and managers up to speed on fault injection techniques,
including reuse maintenance issues.

For more information, see <http://www.rstcorp.com/fault-injection.html>.
