VGAPCK06 string display problems...

VGAPCK06 string display problems...

I recently install the ez2load suite with vgapck06, and while everything 
else seems to work ok, when I use the "Write_String" or whatever command from 
in VGA mode, all this unintelligible garb comes up in place of characters, like 
from a different character set.

I mailed the author but have not yet received a response, so was wondering if 
anyone else has experienced similar problems ?

heh, I wish I was... the weird thing was that it is the demo programs (demo and 
the other one... show something, that i noticed the problems, and then when I 
wrote some small piece of my own code, the same thing occured... tis very 
strange, I'll try those things you requested though, thanks..

Strange... Are you sure that you are not using text_io or 
displaying uninitialised strings ?
