ADA/DCE BINDINGS IN ARC LIBRARY
Topic: Ada, Reuse, COE

The Army Reuse Center has announced the availability of "Ada/Distributed
Computing Environment (DCE) Bindings (RSCID#10d003YG)" in the ARC
Library. The Ada/DCE Bindings provide standard Ada 95 bindings to DCE
1.1 for use in the distributed environment as part of the Joint Common
Operating Environment (COE) and for all other DoD systems.

The software runs on Sun SPARC, Solaris 2.3 and 2.4 operating systems,
and requires the following: Open Software Foundation (OSF) DCE, v.
1.03/1.1; GCC v. 2.6.3 for Solaris; and, GNAT compiler 2.07 for Solaris.

For a library user account, contact Mr. Ray Lloyd; tel. 703/806-4181, DSN
656-4181.

NEW COMPONENTS IN THE ARC LIBRARY
Topic: Ada, Reuse

Two new components, "DEFINE_CRT 10D003UU" and "DEFINE KEYS 10D003UV",
have been recently added to the Army Reuse Center (ARC) Library.

DEFINE_CRT is an Ada package that instantiates a generic Cathode Ray Tube
Template. The generic package provides operations to get and put
elements at specified columns and set display attributes.

DEFINE KEYS is an Ada package that retrieves keyboard inputs and returns
the corresponding code. It deals with keys other that the alphanumeric
inputs, such as "TAB" or "F1" keys.

For more information or a library user account, contact Roy Lloyd at
703/806-4181 or DSN 656-4181.
