THE POLITICS OF REUSE
Topic: Reuse

Tony Baer, in his article in the January 1997 issue of Software Magazine,
asserts that software reuse will not reach its full potential until
programmers start reusing business logic. Software Reuse often utilizes
skillsets not always available in development organizations. A team
approach and a clear breakdown of responsibilities are essential.
Developers can help others locate reusable components or objects by
creating clear documentation. Without the commitment of adequate
resources, these full benefits of reuse may not be possible.

1997, v17, n1, p57.
