Hello!

We are starting up a project where
we are moving our software development tools
from a VMS platform (VAX and Alpha) to
a UNIX platform (probably SUN/Solaris).

Some of the tools are written in DEC Fortran =

for VMS.

To ensure a more portable environment we intend
to translate all tools to GNAT (Gnu ADA95).

To make life easier I'm looking for a tool that
can do a bit of the translation work.

Please reply and give me a hint of where I can
find such a handy tool.

If you reply please send me an E-mail as well.

By the way. I'f you know a tool that translates
from DCL to any common UNIX script language (such as
Python), please give me info on that too.

Best Regards/Henriik Strandberg

I've heard about a f2ada perl script, try an internet search engine
on f2ada, or have a look at the AJPO site at

   http://sw-eng.falls-church.va.us/AdaIC/

   I never tried it...
