Ada95 software development for high-speed digital tactical communications.
Reach out and touch the future in one of the following roles: Software
Engineers-Use object-oriented design analysis and CASE tools to define
software requirements, design code and test tactical network products
such as user interfaces and databases. As a software engineer, you will
develop network management engine interface code, troubleshoot software
during unit and system level integration efforts, and create test procedure.
You'll need 3-8 years' experience in DoD software development in accordance
with DoD-STD 2167A, to include exposure to OOA/OOD/OOP techniques (Rumbaugh
preferred). You must have development experience with the following: Ada95;
relational database; SQL (Oracle preferred); UNIX-based client/server
platforms (Sun Solaris preferred); X-Windows and OSF/MOTIF. Experience
with X.700/CMIP network protocols (GDMO,ASM.1) and CASE tools (StP) is
a plus. A second position is available for an individual to support software
development efforts by evaluating COTS tools, assisting in the specification
of requirements and the customization of tools (StP, ObjectAda and ClearCase
for Ada) and producing user documentation. To qualify, you need 5-8 years'
experience, preferably with Ada, SQL and UNIX, with a background in large-
scale software methodology and development. Exposure to OOA/OOD techniques
is a plus. Requires a BS in CS, EE, ME or equivalent (MS a plus).
Software Engineer responsible for object-oriented design, code, and test
of tactical network products. Responsibilities include: analyze user interface
and database design requirements; perform object Oriented preliminary
and detailed design activities using CASE tools; construct test cases
and test procedures code and test computer software units and components
in Ada, Ada95, SQL, and/or 4GL; develop code interfacing to a network
management engine (Sun Solstice); maintain low level design and code documentation
in software development files/folders; troubleshoot software problems
during unit and integration level testing. EXPERIENCE: 5-8 years of related
experience in DoD software development in accordance with DOD-STD 2167A,
development experience with Ada development experience with X Windows
and OSF/MOTIF development experience with relational database design and
development, and SQL (Oracle pref), development experience on UNIX based
client-server platforms (Sun Solaris preferred), practical experience
with OOA/OOD/OOP techniques (Rumbaugh pref). PLUSES: experience with X.700/
CMM network protocols (GDMO, ASN.1) or experience with CASE tools, especially
IDE Software Thru Pictures. Strong analysis and problem solving skills
is highly desirable
Same basic req with more emphasis on Object Oriented Techniques. Software

to a network management engine (Sun Solstice); maintain low level design
and code documentation in software development files/folders; troubleshoot
