Join the world's leading supplier of satellites to military,
civil government, and commercial communications organizations!
Our client company provides recognized leadership in weather
data, Earth and space observations, global positioning and
commercial and military communications satellite products. We
are looking for talented reusable flight SW engineers to staff
exciting programs such as IRIDIUM, Milstar, Commercial Remote
Sensing System (CRSS) and the A2100 comsats.
WE HAVE AN IMMEDIATE NEED FOR SENIOR REUSABLE FLIGHT SOFTWARE
ENGINEERS. EXCELLENT SALARY AND BENEFITS!
EDUCATION REQUIRED: Requires a BS/MS in Computer Science,
Math, Physics, or EE and 3 - 12+ years of embedded software
development with at least 2 years of hands-on Ada development.
Performance of this job requires access to DoD and ITAR
information. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements for
access to classified material.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: We are seeking senior applicants with
experience in the rigorous application of structured and
object-oriented software design methods. Experience developing
satellite software and planning/applying the reuse of embedded
software is highly desirable. Experience in the definition and
implementation of software engineering processes, design
methods and CASE environments to develop reusable Ada
components is highly desirable. We are looking for appplicants
who have demonstrated ability as a technical leader with a
history of delivering quality products on time.
SPECIFIC DUTIES INCLUDE: Development of software
architectures, detailed design of software subsystems,
integration of software and hardware components and
documentation of reusable software products.
