After installing gnat304a1 for windows '95 I ran the included set path
utility. It completed without any errors. Then after attempting to
compile the test Hello.adb program I got the follwing error. " GNATMAKE
caused an invalid page fault in module GNATMAKE.EXE at 0137:0040844f." My
question is what happened? Did I not set up the paths correctly? Is
something missing? . Someones help one this would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks Mark.

Well, I've got the same GNAT and assuming you ran SETPATH.BAT after
this (and set up a big DOS environment as per the instructions :-))
it should have worked. Try the following:

Shutdown Win95 and restart. This often fixes problems like this.
Make absolutely sure you're running the path setup beforehand. Put a
command in your CONFIG.SYS that reads
SHELL=C:\COMMAND.COM C:\ /P /E:1024
and one in the AUTOEXEC.BAT reading
CALL C:\GNAT304A\SETPATH.BAT (should go AFTER any PATH or SET PATH=
line)
If it still fails, it's possible the error isn't in GNATMAKE at all.
Some people report problems like this appearing with any application.
If you find it's happening a lot, try reinstalling Win95: Setup should
detect the current Win95 installation and offer to reinstall corrupted
DLLs.

HTH,

"Not easy I'm afraid ... it is mud!"
I really must get out more...
