Alsys Ada Compiler

Alsys Ada Compiler

We're currently using the Alsys Ada compiler Version 5.6.1 under Cetia's UniRt
Operating System which is really Lynx 2.2.2. We may upgrade to either Lynx 2.3.1	
or 2.4. Anyone know if I have to change compiler versions? Any "war stories"
concerning this transition (Ada or otherwise) would be greatly appreciated.

Did you really mean Alsys 5.6.1, because here in the UK we are on 5.5.8 for LynxOS 2.3.0 
and as I am in almost daily touch with Alsys overhere. I'm sure that they would have 
mentioned a new release (if only to get me off their backs!). Of course Alsys could be 
using differnet release number in the US.

My understanding of the current position is that originally Alsys decided that they would 
NOT be supporting LynxOS 2.4 but I think that they may be reconsidering that currently.
