I have looked at this a little. The best approach appears to be to use
GNATCOM
(www.adapower.com/com)

To produce a COM binding to the features of Excel.

Then take a look at the Microsoft Knowledge base examples for how to do this
from
Visual Basic. (Article Q219151)

The same approach should work with the Ada COM binding.

I don't remember which dll,ocx,tlb or exe I used in the Excel area that I
found the
COM stuff in. If you can't figure it out I can poke around and see what I
can find.
