   The new packages are on AUR4. If anyone would care to try these packages then any feedback would be welcome.

   Thanks again to John Marino for paving the way with the equivalent BSD packages.

   I haven't tried it yet myself but I expect it should be ok. Sounds like gnoga might be a good candidate for a new archlinux package.

Hi Fred,

   There is a dependency package called 'prepare_gnat_util' which adds two missing links for the libgnat and libgnarl shared libs.

   I can't see any mention of those libs in the error msg though, so I'm not sure if that is the problem.

   Ok, I figured it was unlikely as a reason.

   I'll retest the package here in a vanilla archlinux vbox and see if I can replicate the problem.

   I've retested the package build and was unable to reproduce the problem. I've not received any other comments on the package as yet, which makes it more difficult to isolate the problem.

   Perhaps you can submit a comment on the aur4 site ? Perhaps others may speak up.

Hi !

It seems that my previous error was stupid (disk space on my /tmp was only 2.5 Go). Now that I have changed the tmp directory of yaourt (with the option --tmp), another problem appeared:

"aur-gnat_util/src/gcc-5-20150721/gcc/ada/gnat_ugn.texi:54: @include : unable to find gcc-common.texi"

and the build stops.

Any idea how to fix this ? I've googled a bit and didn't find any mention of this anywhere.

Hi again,

   I was unable to repeat the problem :/ .

   'gnat_ugn.texi' is included in the gcc tarball, so barring some odd/unlikely disk space or unpack prob, I cannot explain its seeming absense.

   I've updated the 'gnat_util' arch pkg to match gcc 5.2.0 'proper' (as opposed to previous snapshot based gcc). I doubt this will help with your problem but may be worth trying.

Hi,

It seems that compiling in a tmpfs directory (size 6 Go) was the reason why it stopped.
When trying in a directory (same size free) mounted on a ssd drive, the problem disappeared.

Sorry for the time you wasting in trying to reproduce ths problem. I hope it 
could help someone.

The GPS package should now build when both python2 and python3 are present.

Apologies to anyone who experienced this problem.
