I think if you download the GPS source code, from
http://mirrors.cdn.adacore.com/art/c1fe4e2b2edfc1cfa352051eafb1db7b1cf385c0
that you'll find that it is written in Ada.

As far as i could tell the sources for GPS i ruffly:
1500 files of Ada
50 files of C
175 files of Python
So i don't understand.
