Has anyone out there used the Verdix Ada Development System (VADS)
hosted on Sun UNIX targeted at MC68000 for a small embedded system
using real-time tasking (By small I mean under 256K)? Over the summer,
I was in charge of researching the compiler for suitability in a particular
application. Although it turned out that we had too little memory to
be able to use true Ada tasking, I had several problems with the
compiler and linker. I would appreciate it if anyone could share
their experiences with me. I won't go so far as to post specifics,
but you could send me e-mail if you want to know the problems I
encountered. Thanks for any replies.
