Hi Simon,
Many thanks for your efforts, greatly appreciated.
I note that this release is for macOS EL Capitan. Can I use this release for macOS Sierra? (I'm happy to test it for you.) And also, what do I gain in moving from Ada GCC 6.1 to GCC 7.1?
Cheers,
Leo

At the front of the posting here I said "GCC 7.1.0 for macOS El Capitan
and Sierra"! but I see I didn't say that at sf.net; will correct that
ASAP.
My main machine runs Sierra, but I've kept the older one with the
cracked glass running El Capitan. I found that if I build the compiler
(more specifically the RTS, I think) on Sierra, using it on ElC results
in lots of link-time warnings about "built for a later release of the
operating system"; so I built on ElC and verified on Sierra.
I'm afraid I don't have a list of benefits! There are a couple of
regressions from 6.1.0[1,2] but no other problems I'm aware of.
