If you're running a current version of Redhat Linux (you will need rpm 2.2 or
newer) you might be better off trying the RPMs for GNAT at
<ftp://ftp.redhat.com/pub/contrib/contrib-2.2.x/RPMS>. You will need at least
the libc, libpthreads, libgnat, gnat, and gcc RPMS with the -1Ada release
number. Other RPMS with the -1Ada release number are designed to work with
these (static libs and other compilers). If you aren't running the Rembrandt
Beta release of Redhat you may need to use the --nodep option to RPM to install
these RPMS. I should point out, I guess, since you where using gnat-linuxaout
that these RPMS install the ELF compiler.

The RPMS work for me, and I haven't heard of any problems, but that doesn't
mean there aren't any. Let me know if there are any questions about or
problems with the RPMS.
