I have a couple questions having to do with floating point. I am not a
regular reader of this newsgroup; please respond via e-mail.

1) I don't see any accuracy requirements for conversions of real literals
to floating-point types. Could someone please point me to the section of
the RM that talks about this?

2) The attribute Model_Epsilon (described in Appendix A) is supposed to
have the value Machine_Radix**(1-Model_Mantissa). Please forgive me, but
I just don't get it. (Could it be that I'm too tired?) What's so special
about this value? It seems to me that either
Machine_Radix**(-Model_Mantissa) or Machine_Radix**(-Model_Mantissa-1)
would be more special.
