Programmers Needed in St. Louis Metro Area

Harris Data Services Corporation is recognized for providing superior quality 
engineering support and system operations for a variety of advanced 
communications and information processing systems. We currently have several 
openings for individuals with the following qualifications:

System Administrators
Mid to senior level VMS and UNIX Programmer/Analyst/Software Engineer 
positions are available for individuals with Master's or Bachelor's degree and 
experience directing, planning and organizing major projects. Practical 
knowledge of system administration, system tuning, fault detection/correction, 
and configuration management is essential.

Software Engineers
Junior, mid and senior level positions are available for individuals with a BS 
degree and experience with Ada design and programming. Must have experience 
with OO analysis and design, WANs/LANs, software engineering processes, 
client/server technology, relational databases, and X-Windows GUIs. Practical 
knowledge of UNIX, SUN Solaris, Sybase/Oracle, Rational Apex, Screen Machine, 
and other languages (C, C++, Pascal, PL/1) is a definite plus.

Software Process Engineering
Mid to senior level positions are available for individuals with a BS degree. 
Successful candidates must have the ability to integrate all aspects of 
managing a software project, including planning, tracking, peer reviews, SQA, 
and SCM.  Must also be able to work within a customer's environment to assist 
in the development and application of software development and maintenance 
processes. Training/mentoring experience and the ability to define, build, and 
deliver training programs is a definite plus.
