NYU parser generator

NYU parser generator

Does anyone know anything about the NYU LALR parser generator written by 
Phillipe Charles and Gerald Fisher? (e.g. where I can get it, what language 
it's written in, what it will run on).  It's used to generate the parse tables
for the parser in the abstractions package from Intermetrics on the Ada 
repository. I'd like to use that parser as front-end for an Ada tool I'm
working on, but only if I have the capability to regenerate the parse tables
later on.  I haven't been able to find anyone at NYU who knows anything about
it.

Intermetrics, Inc. has sponsored some of the NYU LALR parser
work, and uses it in their Ada compilers.  Versions exist
in PL/I, Fortran, and (forthcoming) Ada.  These are not commercial
products yet, but might be suitable for a university environment.

Regarding the NYU LALR Parser generator:

It turns out that the PL/I version is not available from Intermetrics,
and in fact was not "sponsored" as I had thought but simply
bought from NYU.  Here is part of a note from Brian Siritzky,
apparently a current member of the NYU Ada project:

  . . . [Intermetrics] bought a completed product for their own internal
  use as well as distribution with their products. I assume that the
  PL/I verion is still the original, and therefore not subject to this
  distribution. . .
