As the subject says, anyone have a reason to use anything specific?  For the 
sake of discussion, let's set aside the GPS...any other good ones out there?

putting aside GPS... the only one then, Emacs :)

The Aonix Ada plugin for Eclipse works pretty well, too.

A few days ago, Martin Krischik has mentioned more Ada support
for VIM. If you consider VIM an IDE.
