Aha. Combine this with the explanation given by Jerome Hugues.
Then a suitable invocation of configure is, e.g.
$ .../configure --enable-languages=c,ada,c++,fortran
BTW, GCC 4.1 ist worth a try. It supports more of Ada 2005.
