I haven't recieved any mails since June from the mailinglist of
comp.lang.ada. Does anybody know if this has been taken down?

What do you mean? From the header it looks like you wrote this from a
usenet server and not via the mailinglist. I didn't use the mailinglist
to ask either, because it doesn't work...
