"Half an hour after the launch, Ariane released the Spanish military
communications satellite and the German built experimental spacecraft.
This spacecraft will study the behaviour of fluids in orbit, Arianespace
said from its headquarters outside Paris.
Ariane has a redesigned cooling system to prevent the costly failure of
the previous launch attempt. The engine has also been improved to give
more thrust than before. "
