As another suggestion on copyright - the Creative Commons
licenses are often used in communities I'm familiar with
to provide a variety of degrees of protection to authors.
A common one is the "share and share alike" one, which might
promote the kind of community you are seeking to create.

The middle tab has a "Choose a License" entry to various
options.
This is perhaps a little more formality that you might have
expected, but may save some time and effort later.
