This may come off as a strange request, but a friend of mine has to develop
a GUI using Ada. She has never done such, nor heard of such, and asked me
to post a request for information (be it articles or personal experiences).
Can anyone on this group fulfill this request?

"Information"? Well, is it an X GUI, a Motif GUI, a Windows GUI? A Macintosh
GUI? An Amiga GUI? An "embedded-system" GUI?

There are quite a few GUIs being implemented using Ada. My personal
experience is in X Windows and Motif development; I also know people using
DecForms (sp?) and AlphaWindows user-interfaces, developed in a variety of
ways, from GUI builder tools to Ada bindings. It may not seem easy at
first, but it can be done, and done well... maybe if your friend could
provide more specifics, someone here could provide more information.
