ESP has an article this month on compiler optimizations. Multiple languages
are used to illustrate examples, but the prevalent language used is Ada.
There's also an article on using integer arithmetic to simulate fixed-point
arithmetic for processors that do integer faster than floating-point. It
has these complicated code examples in some brain-dead language called
"C". Anybody heard of this thing?
The new editor of ESP is asking for inputs on what people would like to
see (E.g., more Ada articles). I would post the e-mail address, but I've lost
my copy of this issue :(
