Hello Ada people!

I use Gnat for OS/2 and Gnat for Linux. Last month I've changed my
Linux Gnat version from 1.83 to 2.0, after this action the Gnat compile
failed (gcc -gnata <filename>. I extracted from the warning, that the
compiler needs a new version of the shared library object /lib/libc.so.x.y.z.
My actual library version is /lib/libc.so.4.5.24 and the compiler needs
/lib/libc.so.4.6.z.

Knows anybody where I can get a newer version of the libc?

Send anything you know about it to me or this forum.

Regards

Sure, check sunsite.unc.edu:/pub/Linux/GCC or you can go to your local
sunsite mirror should you have one nearby.

Be sure to read the release notes in that directectory for libc-4.6.27 as
you will find that kernel 1.1.52 or better and gcc 2.6.2 or newer is
required to use 4.6.27. Make sure you all check the release notes for
gcc too, because you may have to update your binutils as well.

Since this isn't Ada or Gnat specific please direct any further questions to
email.

Good luck!
