The Icelandic eth is usually mapped to d. In Icelandic there is no
word beginning with eth so it has never been a problem and we do not
have a seperate "eth-division" in the phone directory :). The Icelandic thorn
is an indipendent character and comes after Z in the Icelandic alphabet.
