Ada Lovelace memorial exhibition

Ada Lovelace daughter of the poet Lord Byron is buried alongside
her father in the Parish Church of Hucknall just north of
Nottingham in the United Kingdom. Ada was a talented
mathematician who worked with Babbage when he was designing the
first computing machine.

Hucknall Parish Church dates from the 12th century and the Byron
family vault from the 17th century. The Church is currently
being restored and an area is being set aside for an exhibition
on the life and works of both Byron and Ada.

The Church will welcome advice and suggestions for exhibits
which explain to the many visitors the Church receives the
significance of Ada Lovelace's work and of the computer language
named after her.

Snail-mail to
Canon Fred Green, Hucknall Parish Church, Hucknall, Nottingham,
UK
or you may email me and I will pass it on.
