True.  In fact (IMHO), about 50% of the traffic on comp.lang.c++
seems to be discussions about:

Which is better: Borland, Microsoft, GNU, or Watcom C++?

IMHO, again, the signal to noise ratio is higher on the c++ newsgroup.
