I am looking for an ada compiler.  It seems no one can tell me a company that
makes them.  I need one I am able to purchase in a store.  I need it for 
an ibm compatable.  thanks And I really appreciate anyone who can help.

PS I know there are ones you can get from ftp but I'm not intrested in those

Alsys, RR, and Rational (nee Meridian), sell validated Ada compilers
for the PC.  I use RR's - their phone number is 1-608-251-3133 (also
1-800-PC-ADA4U, I believe).  I was happy initially with the cheap
learning version (validated, but limited libraries and tools) that ran
on a small memory DOS machine.  For about the last 9 months I've been
using primarily the 32 bit, large memory, 9X version (beta, clearly)
for commercial projects.
