I know Gnat includes a format _checker_. Does the release
contain some hidden formatter as well?

no, it doesn't but if you are an emacs user you are lucky because the new Ada
mode (ftp-able from NYU for now, but soon in the emacs distribution) formats
your code while typing (when using TAB) and the default settings are very close
to the GNAT preferred format
