Yes, for the primary flight software that runs in 4 of the on-board computers.

I believe the backup flight software is written in a different language -
however, it has
never had to take over - another testament to how good the primary flight
software
is!

Please search Google groups for the answers; we've gone over this 
before. The article dates from 1996; they use HAL/S (or at least they 
did the last time this was discussed); they don't seem to be hiring.
