E = mc**2  shows the whole amount of energy contained in a body,
including kinetic.
Because, from the special theory of relativity, the mass of moving body
is increased:

m(moving) = m(rest)/sqrt(1-(v/c)**2)

So,

E = mc**2 = m(rest)c**2/sqrt(1-(v/c)**2)
