That's not the case, Gtk/GtkAda 2.0 are suitable for all environments where
1.2 was, but it is true that Gtk 2.0 is very recent, so 1.2 will stay an
attractive
approach for some time (this is the version that Ada Core Technologies
is currently supporting).

As for versions 1.2.x between gtk and gtkada, this is explained in the GtkAda
documentation. In addition, such questions can be asked to report@gnat.com
