* VADS packages on Rational Apex 4.0

I'm going to be working with porting some software compiled with VADS
Ada to Apex shortly and I was wondering about the quality of, and
support for, the VADS packages that Rational provided to ease the
transition.

Are these packages, such as V_Mailboxes, fully supported?  Or are they a
stopgap measure that Apex is trying to wean developers away from?

Certainly reengineering is often the preferred solution, but time,
budget, and COTS doesn't always allow for that.

Any experience and advice would be most welcome.

BTW, I tried to get info about this from the Rational web pages on
upgrading from VADS to Apex, but discovered that one apparently must
already be a VADS customer to even _see_ the information on how one goes
about migrating from one to the other.  Jeeze...
