But this is too inconvenient. I often want to repeat, not only
C-x e on a one off basis, but I may C-k or any other editing
command on an as needed basis. Repeating 100 times is fine if
you *know* that it is 100 times. But with much of the content
on successive (or prior) pages, this count requires extra effort
to identify (and sometimes requires mental calculations -- ugh).
Being able to repeat as you need it, while automatically paging
forward (or backwards) is too convenient for me to give it up.
