No, there are still plenty of Defence projects written in Ada, but the
software is written within the private sector not by Government
employees.

The trend for years has been for the MoD to do less of its own work and
subcontract everything out to Prime Contractors who in turn will
subcontract to other companies including Software Houses - now systems
tend to be PC-based, companies which used to supply their own computers
with a system now just supply software.
