build of GNAT under IRIX64 6.5 mips-3

Hi there,

I'm in the process of building gnat-3.13p under IRIX64 6.5 mips-3
Following the rules, I need gnat-3.12p.
I do have that one, mips-4. no complaints.
So I started, on an IP27, with -mips3 option.

Then I took, to draw a baseline : gnat-3.11p-mips-sgi-irix5.3-bin ( sgi
distribution, mips-3 ), gcc-2.8.1 (src), gnat-3.12p-src, applied given
patches, and started compiling - an IP19, that is ; )
coredump ( that one sure compiles mips-3, without any option, at that
age )

All the crashes were at the same point : executable made from source
code that was partly derived from files produced by configure/Makefile.
( Piles of logs available )
