If I have an application, natively compiled with GNAT, outputting data
via Stream_IO (say through a socket), can I be assured that another
application _compiled using JGNAT_ will be able to successfully input
that data through Stream_IO? Given that the same packages (defining the
transmitted data types) are compiled into both applications.

What if the sender is executing on one platform, say Compaq (DEC) Alpha,
and the receiver on another, such as Windows?
