Ada is a computer programming language --
not an operating system kernel.
You can't make an operating system kernel more reliable
just by rewriting it in the Ada programming language.
Much more is required than that.
The Linux operating system kernel is very reliable.
A well designed implementation of Linux
in the Ada programming language
would still require some time to mature and stabalize.
What might really help is
an Ada like shell script language that could be used
instead of sh, ash, bash, bsh, csh, tcsh, ksh, zsh, etc.
