This is a positive factor in some project manager's minds concerning
the long-term maintenance issues. The typical project has high
skills (analysts and contract-rate programmers) at the front end
and lower skills (college grads) at the back end. Because the
language catches so many problems up front, the less skilled
developers/maintainers are able to be more productive and
introduce fewer problems during maintenance.
