Due to popular demand the deadline for "Language Contest 2000" has been
extended by two weeks to April 14, 2000.

In case you missed the FAQ post we're listing for your convenience the
links answering the leading question of where to find the Standard
Atmosphere data.

        http://www.digitaldutch.com/atmoscalc
        http://prestwick.simplenet.com/aviation/aviaform.htm

Those who are not familiar with "netlib" will note that the optimization
sw can be found in "minpack" library on http://www.netlib.org.

You can also use the companion site http://gams.nist.gov which leads you
to the desired software via problem classification tree.
