Meridian Ada was reviewed in the 12/86 issue of Computer Language together
with Artek and Janus. It compared favorably with these two (mainly because
Artek and Janus failed most of the tests!). Despite the favorable comparison,
the article reports that Meridian Ada is incomplete but validation was planned
for 1/87. Upon calling Meridian, they now estimate validating in 3/87 (the
usual sliding validation date).

Furthermore, the article claimed updates (including validated version) would
be free! But checking with Meridian, the updates will now be $50 (not bad, I
suppose).
