Hi,
I have some thoughts with all the discussion about an Ada Linux kernel,
I was wondering if there was any consideration of making an Ada binding
to RTLinux (or has this already been done).
I don't much favor rewriting the entire kernel in Ada. If you are going
to write a kernel using Ada it seems to me that you would be losing a
lot of the advantages of Ada if you use a design that was meant for a
language like C. Instead, I think that a completely new kernel designed
from the ground-up for Ada would be a much better idea. oops... sorry
about the digression.
Ada bindings to the RTLinux stuff or even better, implementing an
RTLinux like system using Ada seems that it would be a nice idea. Is
there any work currently being done in Ada using RTLinux?
